UPDATE...3/2/17::I was so happy with my initial purchase of this brand I just ordered another one in the color gray. It looks beautiful, and still has the top quality appearance and workmanship as my previous color. The packaging was the same, a strong and sturdy box, very simple and elegant (I am likely to compare to an Apple product packaging box). As for my previous case I purchased, it is still going strong. I have put it through A LOT of use and have had absolutely NO complaints. I am pretty impressed due to the shade of coloring it has not attracted near the "dirt" from normal wear and daily use.I paid full price for bother of these products.-------------ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW-----------------I received this on time, and couldn't wait to get it opened. The case came in a durable, sturdy box which stood out to me immediately. I purchase a lot of cases but they are generally packaged in hard plastic or bags of some sort.Upon opening the box I pulled out the case and noticed right away it was a higher quality than I had expected. There was a paper card in the card slot and it had the Snugg "pledge" about their promise to quality and the lifetime guarantee for my case.The case fits AMAZINGLY and looks absolutely beautiful on my new iPhone 7+. The magnet is nice and strong which gives me a bit of assurance that it won't wear out or "let go" easily. I purchased this for full cost and would absolutely recommend this to anyone. I ordered the "nude" color and am completely happy with its beauty!I replaced another cover which was very flexible and did not stay in place. The Snugg wallet case is more solid and does not slip out of place. My wife has used the Snugg cover for several months and recommends it as wells.There is nothing I don’t like about the SNUGG phone case. It adds minimal bulk or weight to the phone. Material has a very nice feel. Solid construction. Works WAY better than the plastic cases that hold 1 credit card. Priced very reasonably. No reason to spend $40 on some of the higher priced brands. I’ve even had a few people compliment me on the case. Credit card,ID, and a few bills fit perfectly in this case. I’ll follow up in a few weeks to comment more on the durability.Update: 1/13 - Removed phone from case this morning & noticed a small piece broken off on the corner. I’ve dropped my phone a few times and thankfully screen has not cracked. Because of broken corner I have to downgrade my rating to 4 stars.Update 1/23/21: Another corner of the case is broken. This plastic is simply too thin to withstand normal handling and the occasional drop. Downgraded to 3 stars.I admit that I just received this case but the material feels good, color is true and the case fits well. I was a bit skeptical at first but the phone snap fits in well without obstructing any buttons or the camera and the magnet closure is “snugg” as named. The only negatives are the magnet closure is slightly weak, the card slot material lacks elasticity so don’t overload it with cards or it could tear. Also, the sewing is irregular at the creases so I suspect that is a vulnerability for wear and tear.I’m very pleased with the quality of the case given it’s price. Fits my slim iPhone 7 without adding much bulk so I still have a phone I can pocket!This is the fourth Snugg wallet case I've owned. I love that I can keep my phone, driver's license, and credit cards all in one place. It fits in my pocket so I don't have to carry a purse.There are several things I like about this case. It seems to protect my phone well. The phone fits very well in the interior plastic case. The magnetic enclosure on the outside stays closed; it doesn't accidentally fall open. I like that when I open the case all the way up, like when talking on the phone, it is held together magnetically.It seems very well made. The leather is soft. It did arrive with a scratch on the front, but not noticeable enough to send it back.The only thing I'm not super fond of is I wish I could take the interior plastic case out of the exterior leather case. It would be nice to remove the bulky outer layer and still have the phone with a bit of protection.Overall, a very nice case for the money.This is a wallet case and has an area under the front flap where you can put things you want to carry with you. The most important thing is the material which holds the phone is the strongest on the market and it will not let go of your phone if you drop the whole wallet. There is not an open ring in the back which shows that you have an Apple phone. That is no ones business and could lead to someone taking your phone in our country. I got four phone covers before I decided this was the very best and it is. If you drop your phone on its face, that may be a problem, but it will be a problem in any case you get. So use your phone and put it away by closing the wallet and making certain the magnetic closure is in place as it should be.I have had about 5 or 6 of these SNUGG cases in various colors over the last 10 years. I love the ease of being able to have a phone case and mini-wallet that carried my ID and a few credit cards all in one, that I could stick in a pocket and run a quick errand. I almost always jam more items in there than I should, and frequently the case won't stay closed. This time was no different...and I am OK with that. However, the back of the case (the Spine), has already deteriorated to the point where the leather is all falling off, and I only ordered the case about 3 weeks ago. The color I purchased was Electric Blue (which I have had before). Don't know if the thing had been in storage awhile and leather was dried out or what. Never had ever had this issue before, so quickly.****UpdateSnugg sent a new replacement case through that does seem to stand much better, will report back if it frays the same way again.Had a replacement case, and its broken a few months after getting it, im not heavy handed, the plastic is just poor.Let me start by saying I was a Snugg convert with my previous iPhones.Cases were always great, when on the odd occasion I had a problem, they always sorted it out, so I felt confident buying this case when my iPhone 7 Plus arrived... but..Sadly very quickly I was very dissapointed, and the Snugg service when i raised it has been poor.So whats wrong you ask..1) Well its worn badly on the strap for a start as can be seen in the image, it wore in a real short time in fact, a few weeks.2) The phone wont prop upwards for love or money so cant use it except as a flip case, previously I was able to use the case as a stand when the phone was landscape.3) When I raised my issues with Snugg they asked for a video, which of course I cant do as the phone would need to be in the case to show it not standing, so fail there.4) Its cracked easily when i removed my phone a few minutes ago to take a picture of the strap.Very, very dissapointed in the case and the brand now :(SarahBought for my new iPhone 8 as was worried I might drop it and wanted all round protection for it. Fits well and has a nice feel to it and is a nice dark rich colour grey. I particularly bought this because of the suede like feel on the inside. I haven’t put any cards in the slots yet but I will only be using them for an emergency £10 note. The phone doesn’t get switched off by closing the case but it does go off after the usual few seconds of not being used. The cut outs seem to be in the right places but not all have been tried out yet but the way the inner case has been made means that they probably will (see last photo) a bit pricey but all the cheaper ones didn’t have a suede inner and to be fair it does feel and look like a more expensive cover compared to my previous ones. Would definitely buy againI was pleased with the case until I dropped it on a carpeted floor and the plastic sleeve holding the phone broke. I've contacted the supplier several times asking them about their 'Lifetime Guarantee' but they won't respond to my emails. I've also tried to raise my concerns about this supplier's worthless guarantee with Amazon but they aren't interested either. Product otherwise OK but beware that the slightest knock will break the flimsy plastic that holds the phone.The good:As usual, did a bit of research before purchasing this particular case. The case arrives, nicely packed in a presentation box and the quality appeared to be good, nice neat stitching on the leather with no loose or fraying ends. My iPhone 7 fits perfectly and there is no movement when the phone is in the case. The last also holds the case closed nicely.The not so good:The case is less than a week old an already showing signs of wear (see image) to make or receive a call you have to fold the case back on itself so as you can hold the phone comfortably and securely, already the leather is showing signs if splitting where the case folds, I am guessing in a couple of weeks it will have given way completely, not sure if this is a faulty case or whether they all go like this in the end, afraid to say this one will be going back.I purchased this product as I’d had a case from them before for my iPod which some years on is still looking good. However I have been extremely disappointed with the quality of this item. I’ve only had it since August 2020 and it’s pretty much disintegrated. I’m retired and don’t get out much ATM for obvious reasons so it doesn’t get much use. It seems very poor quality and I won’t be ordering another and judging by done recent reviews on here I won’t be getting a response from the company.
